Kids & Co was set up in 1992 in the East of Berlin. Their projects aim to meet the current needs of young Adults. Kids & Co respond to the wishes and requests of children but they also help children and young adults realise themeselves and their dreams.
Me and my group are from Burnley College and we are studying Travel and Tourism. We have Come to stay in Kids & Co to see the attractions of Berlin and show them to young people who want to visit Berlin. In the Kids & Co accommodation we all have shared rooms two girls in one room and two girls in the other. The one lad in our group is sharing a room with some of the lads also from Burnley College who are doing plumbing and electrical jobs over here. The rooms are quite big and sleep up to four people with two bunk beds.
Both the girls and the boys have shared bathrooms and toilets which have two showers, 5 sinks and a few mirrors. The toilets which are also shared have 3 cubicles and a sink. They are very spacious and are aways kept clean, a member of staff cleans the bathrooms and toilets every morning before we are up. 
, We have a shared kitchen with a dining table and a sofa. Everyone has to chip in and do there bit with the cooking. Breakfast gets made for us at 8 from the Kids & Co staff and then we get a 5 Euro budget for lunch and tea where we either go shopping and cook together for our tea or everyone just fend for themselves. Me and Alex have put it on our selves to do the cooking every night because i want to learn how to cook. The lads do have to wash up though there not getting everything done for them. 
At the back of the house is a garden with a patio where we chill on the sun lounges and the smokers smoke, theres also a sandy park with a basket swing. In the garden there is also a football net and a ping pong table, theres also a barbecue which we haven't been able to use because we have brought typical English weather with us. 
Upstairs there are rooms which we can go to in our spare time, the first room has a pool table and various board game we can play, the second room has two table footballs and the third room has a ping pong table, a darts board, dj booth with a cd player and speaks and a punch bag it s a great room to chill in. Upstairs there is a computer room which we can also use in our spare time.
